A new era in distress properties: Commercial

We are entering a new wave of foreclosures and short sales.

Not houses this time. Commercial buildings.

As the commercial loans begin to reset the lenders are starting to see an influx of commercial property loan defaults.

Not unlike the residential crisis in Manatee and Sarasota we are starting to see commercial short sales and foreclosures begin to climb.

Some pundits say this is either going to be minor or not an issue.

I beg to differ.

We have seen a number of commercial foreclosures come across our desk and are told more are on their way.

We are seeing clients looking to short sale their offices instead of being foreclosed on.
