The fall cometh time to get ready to sell
Summertime is historically the slow season for homes sales in Sarasota and Manatee counties.
Many potential sellers are waiting for the winter tourist season to start before putting their home on the market.
Actually the time to start preparing your home to sell is right now.
Get a Realtor to walk with you through your home like you were a buyer. Start at the outside looking at the curb appeal and move in to the home.
Look at the landscaping that needs sprucing up. The painting you have been putting off and yes start that declutter and depersonalize process.
Another idea is to have a professional home inspection done before you put the home on the market.
That way a seller can get in front of some of those objections that come up during the buyers home inspections process.
The reason you want to start doing this now is by the time you get through this process it will be time to get your home listed and on the market for tourist season.
Our northern brethern start scouring the internet for their Florida dream home as the cool fall evenings roll in.
That means as a seller you want everything in tip top shape and listed before Thanksgiving comes around so you are ahead of the competition.
