Get a Realtor to walk with you through your home like you were a buyer. Start at the outside looking at the curb appeal and move in to the home.

Look at the landscaping that needs sprucing up. The painting you have been putting off and yes start that declutter and depersonalize process.

Another idea is to have a professional home inspection done before you put the home on the market.

That way a seller can get in front of some of those objections that come up during the buyers home inspections process.

The reason you want to start doing this now is by the time you get through this process it will be time to get your home listed and on the market for tourist season.
